Innovation DB2 Converter is a set of tools for extracting, converting, importing DB2 databases from the mainframe environment, to other relational DBMS, such as Oracle, facilitating the process of migrating databases from this platform to distributed architecture or cloud. The solution has utilities for connecting and cataloging db2 database inventory, whether in the IBM Z/OS© (mainframe) environment or Unix/Linux environments.

Features of the Solution

The inventory process of all the elements that make up the customer databases are automatically cataloged– schemas, users, tables, indexes, foreign keys, check constraints, aliases, triggers, procedures and functions, sequences, privileges, among other elements that make up the indicated DB2 databases. From there, a repository of definitions in JSON format is built, with all the characteristics of the documented customer database and with the issuance of queries and reports of the composition of the database and its architecture.
